It’s getting REAL
on September 21, 2012 at 12:01 amUh-oh.
Remember this dude? If you need a refresher, start here. But if you need even MORE of a refresher, check this out.
And yes, Dear Reader, to answer the question you are DYING to ask, Tomas Cardinal Lorca is indeed named after Federico García Lorca. Do I think the great poet and playwright was also a villain? Nope, I just really think “Lorca” is the best of the best name for a villain. Sorta like how our Billy Sunday…

..bears no relation to the “real” Billy Sunday…

Happy little fella, isn’t he? Which is shocking to me, since he spent the better part of this life bemoaning the evils of that ‘ole’ Devil Hootch.’ Well, different strokes and all that.
Anyway, so “Lorca”—I just love the name sounds. And speaking of what else sounds great, here’s a little Leonard Cohen paying homage to the great poet himself.
Overindulge this weekend, Dear Reader. Push it TOO FAR.

I don’t know, I think our Billy Sunday kinda looks like the real one….
