Well, isn’t that just a bucket-load of revelation?  Today’s page  is like going to a big-tent revival meeting, except instead of dancing with snakes, it’s a comic that requires more than a passing familiarity with Shakespeare, soooooooo—really, no, not at all the same in any way—but, well, I do like an audience.

And speaking of audiences, Wednesday night, I saw the brilliant Ben Schwartz, known to many as Jean-Ralphio on Parks and Rec, perform his long-form improv show, Snowpants, at UCB. Schwartz was joined onstage by Adam Scott, Justin Long, Zach Woods, Chad Carter and Neil Casey and they were—let’s put it this way.  When I woke up in the morning, my chest was so sore from laughing that it felt like I had was back being a two-pack-a-day man.  In fact, in the bottom left of this photo-set, you can actually see me (sorta, not really) at Schwartz’s elbow.  I’m even more blurry in real life.

And that’s that!  Happy Friday, Dear Reader—I hope you do something fun with your three-day break.  Like the title says, this bird (I’m the bird, in case there is some confusion) is headed north to the big, beautiful Hudson Valley.

Turn Around, Bright Eyes,
