…today’s page and—out of the whole chapter—I think it’s my favorite.  It’s not just the depth of detail (although there is that—notice the metal book-ends on the shelves?), but it’s it’s also the sense of motion the page has has and the (well, hopefully) clear storytelling of the scene.  Plus, I love to write for villains.  Especially when they are, like the above, dramatic, bombastic, giddily intense—there’s a sort of freedom in it, a pulpy, purple-prose looseness that can feel  delicious when you dip your toe in just a little.

Point of order, this page was, as written, six panels as opposed to the seven you see above.  Tony suggested adding the bird’s eye panel in the middle to show the floor cracking  to build the energy of the page before the big end. Teamwork, everybody!
