Here’s something.
on April 16, 2012 at 8:41 amI don’t know if this is a thing or not, but a puzzled reader emailed me this morning with the subject line “I don’t get this one.” The ”one” not gotten involves the above’s second panel and Molly’s following line, which the (dear) reader read as:
“Hah! Thank you dodg-e-ba—”
The reader thought it, maybe, just perhaps had something to do with Star Wars and Yoda’s swamp-world and I must credit them for their inventiveness, but no. The reader—and perhaps many of you?—is adding an extra dash between “g” and “e”—the complete phase Molly saying, before she gets cut off by a giant stone hand (don’t you hate when that happens?), is “Dodge-ball.”
Curious—did anyone else have that issue with the text?

True, but you never know—the key to defeating the Big Bad may in fact be the ability to throw a perfect spiral.
